Hello people! If anyone still watches me anymore. I know I'm not updating much here. But I'm still on here every day, more or less. I am just silently watching you. /creeper
I guess an update on my life wouldn't be a bad idea now. I'm currently lazing around, not doing very much. I'm working a little bit in a kindergarden, but unfortunately they don't need me a lot. So, money is no good. But I am managing.
Now to a more interesting thing, that I mentioned some months ago, but I'm guessing nobody remembers: I'm moving away from Norway in September! I have accepted an unconditional offer from The Arts University College at Bournemouth. It's a an art school in England, and I'll be doing the BA (Hons) Illustration course there. Which means I'll be living in England for the next three years! I'm mostly looking forward to it, meeting new people, exploring a new town (and ofc a new country), learning a lot. But it will be difficult to move away from my friends, my family and last but not least, my boyfriend. I live with him now, and we've been together for a little over two years. I'll probably cry my heart out at the airport. But I'll go home during the holidays, so it's not like I'm not gonna see him for three years. But it's still hard, and I try not to think about it.
I hope, and believe, that starting art school is going to make me be more productive when it comes to art, and I might actually start uploading things here again. I am currently just practicing my traditional skills, as I don't want them to completely suck when I move.
That's all I have to say for now.

I have disliked my old username, fleur-de-soleil, for quite a while now. I created it when I was 15, which is an incredible 6 years ago! I've been a member of deviantART for nearly one third of my life(!). Alas, I have become a lot less active than I used to be. I guess that happens to most members here after enough time. A lot has changed since I last updated this journal, which is over a year ago.
I moved to England, where I started a degree in illustration. I successfully finished my first year, and I am currently in my second year! I really like it here, it's such a creative university, and the people are amazing. It just feels really right to be here at this point in my life.
I also sort of stopped doing photo-manipulation, and started doing digital painting. I'm still trying to find my own style. I can sort of see myself in the future doing illustrations for children's books.
I guess that's all I have to say for now. I don't think a lot of my watchers will read this, since they all probably think I'm dead, haha. But I just really felt like writing something here anyways.

Wow, it's been several months since my last journal update! Time to wipe off the dust from my keyboard 
I have some exciting news At least for me 
I got accepted at The Arts University College at Bournemouth! 
I'm going to start the BA (Hon) Illustration course there, and I'm very happy about this
It's going to be so scary though. Moving away from everything and everyone I know, to a new country, a new school, new people. I'm sure it'll be terrifying at first, and I'll probably have a nervous breakdown at the airport
Hopefully that feeling won't linger though.
Has anyone ever been to Bournemouth, or even better, attended the school?

I don't know if any of you noticed, but yesterday, RandomResources recieved a DD. I'm really happy about it, since I manage the account along with LVSkoglund!
Here it is
Unfortunately, this kitten (Pus was her name), died when she was five months old. She found some chicken left-overs, and one of the bones ripped her stomach apart, it was terrible
Over to some other news: My class is going on a trip to Edinburgh in November, I'm so excited! I love the city, went there in 2008, when I was on an interrail
Have you ever been there?
